Dennis Lawrence Perkins, age 66 of Springdale, Arkansas passed away on Thursday, October 2, 2025 in Fayetteville. He was born on November 10, 1958 in Harlingen, Texas to the late Ottis Lawrence Perkins and Jessie Grace (Pridmore) Perkins. During his youth, while attending church, he learned to play the drums. Music was an important part of his life. He loved watching all sports but had a special place for baseball in his heart. He played with church and community softball leagues as an adult. Dennis was a world cruise traveler and enjoyed sharing about his trips with those he loved. He had a green thumb and loved working in his yard. He was a proud father and grandfather, an excellent "Poppaw".

Dennis is survived by his two daughters, Kylie Perkins of Fayetteville and Lyndsay McNeer and her husband, Brian, of Huntsville; two grandchildren, Hunter McNeer and Taylor McNeer; two sisters, Larenda Wiggins and her husband, Granville, and Karen Perkins all of Columbus, Mississippi; nephew, Gee Wiggins; two nieces, Tasha Cornish and Tiffany Hale; Patricia Perkins, step mother to Kylie and Lyndsay, daughters Charissa Brannan (Shane Clark), Cassandra Hatfield (Scott Hatfield), grandchildren Celina Hale (Josh Hale), Chandler Clark, Colter Clark, Evelyn Hatfield, Hutton Hatfield, and great grandchildren Aspen and Roman.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction and care of Heritage Funeral Home in Springdale, Arkansas.
