IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Debbie Sue
Keen
July 30, 1964 – October 3, 2025
Debbie Sue Keen, 61, of Springdale, Arkansas, passed away peacefully in Fayetteville, Arkansas on October 3, 2025, after a year-long battle with cancer, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on July 30, 1964 in Sikeston, Missouri to the late Robert Irving and Cora Sue (Neal) Moore. Debbie's greatest joy was being a wonderful mom and devoting her life to her two daughters. She later fulfilled a lifelong dream by going back to college to become a teacher, and she quickly became the kind of teacher every child dreams of having. One of the most treasured roles of her life, though, was becoming "Mimi" - her granddaughters, lovingly known to her as "the Babies," were the light of her world. A faithful Christian, Debbie lived with a passion for the teachings of Christ. She loved children not only at school, where she built lasting relationships with her students, but also at church, where she joyfully served in countless ways - leading Vacation Bible School, directing church plays for the youth, and taking kids to church camp. Debbie's heart and home were always open. She shared her life generously, offering a bed to friends in need, fostering children, and giving freely to anyone who needed a meal or a helping hand. For the past five years, Debbie deeply missed her parents, Bob and Sue Moore, both of whom passed away from COVID. Today, we rejoice knowing she is hugging them once again in heaven. Words cannot express how deeply Debbie will be missed, but her love, faith, and generosity will be remembered forever by all who knew her.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 43 years, Tim Keen; two daughters, Cori Fryar and Emma Keen; two son-in-laws, Matt Fryar and Henrry Aguirre; two beloved granddaughters, Katie and Anna Fryar; three siblings and many cherished nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Debbie's life will be 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, October 7, 2025 at Sonora Baptist Church in Sonora with Brother Danny Williams officiating.
