Obituary

Clarence "C.L." Lehn Guinn, passed away July 11, 2021. He was born May 9, 1923, in Winslow, to John and Grace Guinn. At 2 years old the family moved to Goshen, C.L. made Goshen his home for 91 years before moving to Springdale. He graduated from Huntsville State Vocational Scholl (now Huntsville High School) in 1941. It was there he met the love of his life, Wilma Mitchell. They were married April 7, 1945 and had three children. C.L. had several business ventures before working for D.H. Baldwin Company, where he made many lifelong friends. After 23 years of service, he retired and joined his son in a locksmith business. C.L. was very active in the Goshen community, where he was presented the Citizen of the Year Award in 2015. C.L. attended Goshen Nazarene Church.

C.L. was preceded in death by his wife; Wilma, parents; John and Grace Guinn, and all seven of his siblings. C.L. is survived by his three children; Eddie Guinn and wife Nancy, Carol Clark and husband Doug, Jan Phillips and husband Don; six grandchildren, Stacia Williams and husband Adam, Kevin Guinn, Kimberly Phillips, Lindsey Phillips, Zak Clark and Cody Clark and wife Jordan, 10 great grandchildren, and numerous nephews, nieces, and friends. Reverend Larry Woodward officiating, pallbearers will be Kevin Guinn, Zak Clark, Cody Clark, Adam Williams, Bradon Mabry, and Garrett Williams, honorary pallbearers are Cooper and Tyler Clark.

Memorials may be made to Arkansas Children's Hospital, Alzheimer's Organization or a charity of choice.
