Charlotte Lynn Piazza, age 84, of Tontitown, died Christmas morning, December 25, 2021, at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale.  Born Frances Hope Hisey to Mary Margaret Hisey in Wichita, Kansas, on September 7, 1937, Charlotte Lynn Hunt was adopted by Harry and Edna Hunt, and their daughter, Carol, of Valley Center, Kansas on November 24, 1937.

Charlotte never lost her love of sunflowers or her Kansas roots.  She met her birth family in 1992.  Over the years she worked at the Springdale Morning News and later with Springdale Schools.  She later got another name, "Nonie", when her grandchildren came along. Charlotte was curator of the Tontitown Historical Museum for many years.  She enjoyed to travel, which took her near and far.

She is survived by her husband, Henry Piazza; five children, Charles Piazza and wife Freda, Larry Piazza, Andrew Piazza and wife Joan, LeAnn Piazza and Paul Meredith, Matt Piazza and wife Jackie; one sister, Jo Ensz and husband Robert; three brothers, Gary Rockman and wife Kathy, Bob Rockman and wife Joanne, Bill Rockman, and wife Roxanne; six grandchildren, Dean and wife Misty, John, Lisa and husband Tim, Rita, Rachel and husband Saad, Blake; and four great-grandchildren, Katie Jo, Ryan, Anthony and Natalie.  She was preceded in death by a grandson, John.

A Rosary will begin at 9:30 a.m. followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Friday, December 31, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Tontitown with interment at St. Joseph Cemetery.  Visitation will be prior to the Rosary beginning at 9 a.m.
