Charles Lynn Viney, 68, of Elkins passed away Monday, June 28, at his home. He was born August 22, 1952 in Wichita, Kansas, the son of Charles and Dorothy Morrison Viney. Charles loved building furniture for his girls (wife, daughters and granddaughters). He enjoyed the great outdoors for the fishing, gardening and camping, most of all he loved to spend time with his wife, daughters, family, friends and playing with his granddaughters. Charles is preceded in death by his parents, one brother Tommy Viney of Missouri, and one sister Louise Scott of Colorado.

He is survived by his wife of 34 years Vickie Armstrong Viney of the home; three daughters Michelle and husband Lee Chalmers of Fayetteville, Miranda Viney of Fayetteville, Stacey Hathorn of Hindsville; four grandchildren, Serenity Brown of Rogers, Haylee Hathorn of Hindsville, Callie Chalmers of Fayetteville, Rylee Chalmers of Fayetteville, and one grandchild on the way; two brothers Danny and wife Mary Beth Viney of Arkansas, Ronny and wife Karen Viney of Texas; two sisters, Kay and husband George Connes of Missouri, June Kilpatrick of Colorado.

Celebration of life will be Wednesday 11:00 A.M. July 7 at Heritage Funeral Home.
