Celeste Ann Lanier, age 60, died on Saturday, June 29,2024 in Springdale, Arkansas. She was born September 20,1963 in Batesville, Arkansas to the late Sanford and Anga Lee (Troy) Staggs.

Celeste possessed a genuine passion for helping young minds navigate through their formative years. For a decade, she thrived as a staff member at Harber High School. Her ability to connect with students and offer guidance was truly appreciated. Even beyond the classroom, Celeste had a nurturing spirit, extending it to animals in need through rescue work. When not lending a hand, she cherished time spent amidst the beauty of Colorado's mountains, enjoying hikes with her husband and vacations in that breathtaking state.

She is survived by her husband of 32 years, James "Ladd" Lanier; daughter, Paige Lanier of Denver, Colorado; son, Will Lanier of Springdale, Arkansas; sister, Natalie and Fred Grinsberg of Tyler, Texas; special aunt, Fran Troy of Batesville, Arkansas and father-in-law, James W. Lanier of Russellville, Arkansas.

Funeral service 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 2,2024 at Cross Church of Fayetteville, Arkansas with Pastor Nick Bethea officiating. Burial will be held privately.
