Caylan Leigh (Powers) Carbajal departed this life at the age of 20 on Wednesday, July 21, 2021, surrounded by family and friends. Cay died unexpectedly a month prior to her 21st birthday which she had looked forward to. She was born August 20, 2000, in Rogers to Travis Lee and Jennifer Lynn (Dailey) Powers.

Caylan was a beautiful, smart, strong, fun-loving, caring, compassionate person with a huge heart and passion for everything she did.   She always tried to find the best in tough situations.

Many things she loved and enjoyed included horsemanship, music, dance, volleyball, hanging out with friends, making people laugh, spending quality family time, and "all things tie dye". Above all, Caylan was a tremendous mother and wife and so in love with her two babies and husband finally finding the true love she had always dreamed of.

She is survived by her husband, Lazaro "Laz" Carbajal, to whom she was married March 2, 2021; two children, Luna Irene and Enzo Anthony; father, Travis Powers; brother, Jordan Powers; grandfathers, David Powers and John Dailey; aunts, Jo Anne Franco and Melissa Kreishman; her "Rah Rah", Rhonda Rich; father and mother-in-law, Tito and Lily Moke; cousins and a multitude of friends.

Caylan was preceded in death by her mother, Jennifer, and grandmothers, Geneva Irene Powers and Cindy Dailey.

Visitation will begin at 3 p.m. followed by a celebration of her life at 4 p.m. Wednesday, July 28, 2021 at First United Methodist Church in Springdale. The family suggest memorial contributions to either of Caylan's favorite charities: NWA Children's Shelter or the Arkansas Children's Hospital .
