Carolyne Elaine Garcia, 67, of Springdale, passed away Saturday, May 30th,
2020, in her home surrounded by her family. Carolyne was born December
21, 1952 in Fort Smith, Arkansas, the daughter of John and Bessie Marie
Ramey. Carolyne was highly intelligent, avid researcher, crafts maker, and a
beautiful and memorable person. Former faculty of the Chemical Engineering
Department of the University of Arkansas.
Carolyne is survived by her husband Miguel, sister Melanie Ramey of
Madison, Wisconsin, brother Daryl Ramey, of Madison, Wisconsin, and many
loved friends in Northwest Arkansas.
Carolyne loved to contribute to the Arthritis Foundation, Arkansas Public
Broadcasting Service Foundation, and World Wildlife Fund.
