Carolyn Ruth Young, 80, of Springdale passed away Wednesday in Fayetteville, she was born August 20, 1940, in Springfield, Colorado the daughter of Jack and Leta Baker Truax. Carolyn was a devoted wife of 35 years to Frank Young whom she married on July 18, 1986, in Springdale. She was a loving mother and grandmother, who also enjoyed many things in life such as sewing, cooking, art and crafts.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents, one brother Stanley Smith. She is survived by her husband Frank of the home, three sons Stacey Smith, Christopher and wife Rena Young, Gregg and wife Ana Young all of Springdale, one daughter Audra Drew of Springdale, one brother Grady and wife Sandy Truax of Fayetteville, six grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.

There are no services scheduled at this time, family suggest that memorial contributions be made in her name to a charity of your choice.
