Obituary

Carlos Deshun Hall II, age 21, of Northwest Arkansas passed away on Friday, August 16, 2024, at Pinnacle Hills Mercy hospital in Rogers, Arkansas. He was born on November 16, 2002, in Fort Smith, Arkansas, and was nurtured in Brentwood, TN, by his loving mother. The Natural Arkansan was raised in Sienna Estates in Centerton, AR. A dedicated student, Carlos graduated with honors from Bentonville West High School in 2021. While attending high school, Carlos earned college credits at Northwest Arkansas Community College (NWACC). He continued his education as a Razorback at the University of Arkansas pursuing degrees in engineering and pre-med. Beyond the classroom, he was a member of the Civil Air Patrol US Air Force Auxiliary 115th Composite Squadron. He was also a gifted athlete, who excelled in track & field, football, and baseball. He played for the Bentonville Allstars and was the Arvest Pitch, Hit and Run Champion, demonstrating exceptional talent and sportsmanship. Carlos was a proud member of Fellowship of Christian Athletes. He began his Christian journey as a young usher attending Glad Tidings Family Worship Center in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Carlos had a heart for international missions and more recently was a member at New Heights Bentonville. His passion for music was apparent and he enjoyed playing the violin. Carlos also enjoyed origami and immersing himself in various cultural genres. He also took part in various philanthropic endeavors, including "For the Least of These." As an entrepreneur, Carlos established a national historic site in Charleston, Arkansas. Known for his humble nature, Carlos will be deeply missed by his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Calvin B. Davis.

Carlos is survived by his mother, Tamara Wesley, of Fayetteville, Arkansas; father, Carlos Hall, Sr., of Fayetteville, Arkansas; maternal grandparents, Robert (Bob) and Fanny Pearl Wesley of Fort Smith, Arkansas; two paternal grandmothers, Mattie Hall of Marianna, Arkansas, and Helen Davis of Hyde Park; maternal aunt, Kimberly (Cory) Wesley-Kang of California, and numerous cousins.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 am on Thursday, August 29, 2024, at Cross Church in Fayetteville, AR, with Jonathan Beasley officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Memorial Gardens in Fayetteville, AR.  Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Heritage Funeral Home of Springdale (479)751-2444 www.heritageofnwa.com
