Bruce "Duane" Bagwell, age 72 of Elm Springs, died Thursday, October 6, 2022 at Circle of Life Hospice in Bentonville.  He was born May 4, 1950 in Fayetteville.  Duane was a Sunday school teacher, deacon, and actively involved with the music ministry at Phillips Chapel Free Will Baptist Church for many years.  He enjoyed working on projects around his house and was devoted to his wife and family.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Brenda (Grigg) Bagwell; his mother, Maggie (Phillips) Bagwell; three children, Sheri Bagwell, Aaron Duane Bagwell and wife Dr. Holli, LaDawna Bolin and husband Adam; five siblings, Jim Bagwell, Donna Burke, George Bagwell, Jr., Beth Lynn Bagwell, Paul Bagwell; three grandchildren, Alexys Bolin, Cameron Bolin and Abigail Bagwell.  Duane was preceded in death by his father, George Melroy Bagwell, Sr.

Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral at 10 a.m. Monday, October 10, at Phillips Chapel Free Will Baptist Church .  Interment will be at Elm Springs Cemetery .
