Brandon Phillip Flanagan, age 30, passed away on October 24, 2023 at his home. He was born on January 22, 1993 in San Diego, California to Ernest Kochel and Kyle Flanagan. Brandon married Kelley Petersen on November 1, 2019 and was the proud fur dad of Fiona, Zoey, and Hopper.  From a young age, Brandon was always a thoughtful and kind person. Brandon was an only child, but he built a family of friends around him wherever he went. Brandon was never too busy for anyone, and if he hadn't heard from you, he made the effort to hit you up and make sure you were good. Brandon was an avid BMX rider, coin collector, fisherman and Pokemon card trader.  He called himself a "true renaissance man" and a proud jack-of-all-trades. Brandon lived life to the fullest without regard for consequence or worry about tomorrow, because tomorrow was always tomorrow's problem, and he was living today.

The most amazing thing about Brandon was his ability to make people laugh. He would truly do anything to get a laugh out of you. From chasing children with lobsters, dancing in public or in the car to any song that was playing, asking strangers passing by "What the dog doin?", or even crab walking behind people in Target until they noticed, he did it because he was purely and unapologetically himself. Our hearts will always be filled with so much joy and sorrow at the loss of an amazing man. Memento Mori.

Brandon is survived by his wife, Kelley Flanagan; father, Ernest Kochel of San Diego, California; his paternal grandmother, Dorothy Kochel of Dover, Delaware, and his brothers from other mothers Robert Tucker, Tyler Eversole, Vinnie Ratkevich and Johnny Pico.

Memorial service will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 31, 2023 at Heritage Funeral Home Chapel with Eric Shemyaza officiating the service. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Heritage Funeral home in Springdale, Arkansas.
