Barbara Elaine Copeland, 71, of Springdale, sent to be with her heavenly Father on Thursday, September 30, 2021.  She departed this life while surrounded by loved ones at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville.  Shewas born March 1, 1950 in Victoria, Arkansas, to George Eldridge and Betty Sue Brewer Snow.

Barbara was known to her family as a Master Chef, an avid Bible studier, a gardening guru and animal lover.  She loved her family and bringing everyone together to chow-down on her homemade meals and creating new memories.  She was a member of Hickory Flat Church in Springdale.

She was preceded in death by parents, two brothers, Johnny Snow and Larry Joe Norman, and a sister, Mamie Louise Moentman.

Barbara is survived by her husband of 54 years, James Junior Copeland, children, Larry Copeland and wife Dairah of Siloam Springs, Julie Copeland of Fayetteville, Douglas Copeland and wife Bobbi of Bentonville, Jacob Copeland and wife Brenda of Huntsville, one sister, Diana Brooks and husband Gene of Galena, Missouri, and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 5, at Mount Olive Cemetery in Elkins.
