Arthur Edward Penzo age 84 of Tontitown, passed away Monday, May 19, 2025 at his home. He was born on January 31, 1941 in Tontitown to the late Adele (Bariola) Penzo and Ed Penzo. In 1966, Arthur married Joyce Bowlin. He spent over thirty-two years driving trucks for Jones Truck Lines. Arthur spent his free time hunting and fishing, raising cattle, working in his garden and maintaining his beautiful lawn. He was a very active member of the Tontitown community. Arthur was a founding member of the Tontitown Area Fire Department. He continued to volunteer for over thirty years and served on the Fire Board. Arthur served as an Alderman for Tontitown City Council for 22 years. He was a devoted husband, father and Nonno to his family. In addition to his parents, Arthur was preceded in death by two brothers, Loyd Bariola and Eugene Penzo.

He is survived by wife, Joyce Penzo of the home; daughter, Elizabeth King and her husband, Doug of Chelesa, Oklahoma; son, Mark Penzo and his wife, Angie of Belleville, Arkansas; brother, Claude Penzo and his wife, Agatha of Tontitown; seven grandchildren, J.C. King and his wife, Taryn, Garrett King and his wife, Maddie, Katelyn Vaughan and her husband, Clay, Dylan Penzo and his wife, Julia, Drake Penzo and his wife, Madison, Dalton Penzo and his wife, Danielle, Destinee Tyra and husband, Logan; four great grandchildren, Brantlee and Carson King, Brynlee Penzo and Adaline Tyra.

Mass of the Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, May 24, 2025 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Tontitown with Father Bala and Pastor Max Bowlin officiating. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Tontitown. Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Friday, May 23, 2025 at Heritage Funeral Home Chapel in Springdale, Arkansas.
