Anderson Earl Erwin Jr age 91 of Springdale passed away Saturday, May 17, 2025.  He was born on February 24, 1934 in Lynn, Arkansas to the late Hattie Cooper and Anderson Earl Erwin Sr.  At 17, Junior left northeast Arkansas.  After a short time in Oklahoma, he arrived in Rogers where he met and married Thelma Zachary.  In 1955, Junior was drafted into the United States Navy.  While serving in the Navy, he was stationed on the USS Toledo.   In 1960 Junior and Thelma decided to leave California for Springdale, Arkansas.

Junior was an active member of the West End Church of Christ.  He enjoyed cars and racing.  Junior was a simple man who was known for his generosity and willingness to help others.  If he wasn't working numerous jobs, he would be spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.    In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by wife, Thelma Zachary; brothers, Paul Erwin and Vernon Erwin.

Junior is survived by his daughter, Dianne Smith and husband, Tom; grandchildren, Andy Bibb and wife, Sarah of Nampa, Idaho, Chelsea Couperthwaite and husband, James of Springdale, Courtney Pearson and husband, Ryan of Rogers; great grandchildren, Elijah Pearson, Vincent Couperthwaite, Tytan Pearson, Trey Pearson, Emmitt Anderson Bibb.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, May 23,2025 at Heritage Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Kerry Holloman officiating.  Interment will follow at Bluff Cemetery in Springdale. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday, May 22,2025 at the Funeral Home.
