Alvin DuBois, age 85, passed away Thursday. August 10, 2023 in Springdale, Arkansas.  He was born on June 26, 1938 in Lafayette, Louisiana to the late Desire and Lena Mae Authement DuBois. Alvin served in the United States Navy for four years as an aircraft mechanic. He poured concrete most of his life. Loved gardening and grew some of the best vegetables. Alvin was a lovable mean old fart and will be greatly missed. He is preceded in death by son, Terry Wayne DuBois; brother, Clovis DuBois; sisters, Louise DuBois and Agnes DuBois.

He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years Lucille DuBois; sons, Alvin Michael DuBois of Sapulpa, Oklahoma, James Robert (Debbie) DuBois of Kellyville, Oklahoma, Johnny DuBois, Roger DuBois of Dallas, Texas, Robert Alton Howell of Porter, Oklahoma, Jimmy Darrell  (Sandra) Howell of Beggs, Oklahoma; daughters, Diana Dixon of Mounds, Oklahoma, Tina (Larry) Ring of Catoosa, Oklahoma; brothers, Francis DuBois of Phoenix, Arizona, Joe DuBois of Alabama; 17 grandchildren,;36 great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild on the way with a host of extended family.

A memorial service will be 10:00 am Saturday, August 26th in Sapulpa Oklahoma at Pentecostal Mission Holiness Church.  Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Heritage Funeral Home (479)751-2444.
