Ajeanna Illene Kernes, (56) an Angel, graced this planet on December 9th, 1966 to Donald Hodges and Sally Linder. She returned home on June 16th, 2023 from Springdale, Arkansas. From how sacred her spirit was, she never fell short of a miracle and a miracle it was to have the time with her. Ajeanna fulfilled her loyalty to God taking the special role of being a nurse to many, making sure to touch the soul of those she met and cared for compassionately. She aided patients in their home then cared for them at nursing homes. She devoted herself to nurse her dad, Don, until his passing in 1998 and then for her husband that became disabled in 2008. Willingly and lovingly, she took the role of being a mother-in-law to Damian Hemond. Ajeanna also nurtured her animals closely in her life; her heart of gold never had an expiration date— her Angelic spirit still lives on. Even up until Ajeanna's very last breath, her unconditional motherly love and care still entirely encompassed her daughter Lily that night, even now to mother her from above.

She is survived by her daughter Lillian Jasmine Kernes with an unparalleled dearly loving relationship, her beloved future son in law, Damian Hemond and her husband Robert Kernes. She also has two very much adored cat babies, Jenny and Gimpy.

Memorial service will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, June 24, 2023 at Robinson Ave Church of Christ of Springdale, Arkansas with Nick Poulas & Keith Kilmer officiating.
